Drew Martens

Drew Martens is an attorney that specializes in criminal defense, personal injury, and handles a select number of divorce cases across the State of Georgia.

A Houston County native, Drew played college baseball prior to attending the Mercer University School of Law. Acknowledging his talent in the court room, Drew was selected to become a member of Mercer’s nationally ranked mock trial team. There, he competed in various trial advocacy competitions, including the in the South Carolina School of Law Trials and Tribulations Mock Trial Competition and the highly competitive Hofstra Legal Medical mock trial competition/ At Hofstra, Drew collaborated with medical students to develop a thorough understanding of complex medical and scientific issues involved in the case, allowing him to effectively present and challenge expert testimony at trial.

Drew clerked for an insurance defense law firm while in law school. His experience working for large insurance companies provides him a unique perspective from the “other side” that now allows him to better assist injured clients.

Prior to joining Cabe Law, Drew worked in private practice as a divorce attorney, but also prosecuted hundreds (if not, thousands) of misdemeanors and traffic offenses (including DUI) for various traffic courts in Georgia. His prior experience as a solicitor and prosecutor for those courts allowed him to gain an intimate knowledge of misdemeanor and traffic related offenses. Drew now utilizes that prior experience to help his clients navigate the criminal justice system.

Drew’s practice encompasses traffic, misdemeanor, felony, and federal criminal defense in addition to personal injury cases, including car wrecks and premises liability.

Drew is married and recently celebrated the birth of their first child. He and his wife attend Ingleside Baptist Church. In his spare time, Drew enjoys dirt biking and boating on the lake with family and friends.
