Charges against teacher dismissed; attorney finds inconsistent evidence

A teacher was charged with misdemeanor possession and tampering with evidence while a passenger in another man’s car. Attorney Cabe was retained to investigate the case. After demanding all body and dash camera footage, Attorney Cabe determined the officer had THREE different versions as to why he pulled over the vehicle in the first place. Each story more “fantastical” than the other. These inconsistencies hindered the officer’s credibility.

Moreover, camera evidence showed that the defendant did not attempt to “dispose” of any evidence in the manner the officer described in officer’s report. These revelations, in addition to other procedural pitfalls brought to the prosecutor’s attention resulted in a full acquittal for the teacher.
