Record cleared after clerk’s error

A Georgia man lived for nearly two decades under the false impression that he was convicted of a family violence crime. This resulted in lost job opportunities, the inability to own a firearm, and even rent discrimination. Cabe Law was retained to seek expungement, record restriction, and retroactive first offender act opportunities. While investigating the man’s criminal history, Mr. Cabe learned his criminal record was wrong. He had never been convicted of a family violence crime. After more research, Mr. Cabe was able to clear the man’s criminal record.
