Road rage assault dismissed

A Georgia man was arrested for allegedly shooting at a woman during a road rage incident. In the case, the man and woman did have a verbal altercation on an off ramp from I-75. After the altercation, the man drove home. Still upset, the woman drove across town, parked her case, waited, and eventually called 911. The woman told officers that the man shot a gun at her while driving down the road. Officers responded to the man’s house, refused to review dash camera evidence, refused to test the firearms, and arrested the man on the spot. Attorney Robert Cabe was retained. After conveying the additional evidence to the prosecutor, including the officers’ own mistake in their incomplete investigation, all charges were dismissed.
